GICS Paediatric Trauma Resource Survey in Low to Middle Income Countries

Injury is one of the leading causes of death globally. Approximately 5.8 million deaths occur each year due to injury, 90% of which occur within low to middle income countries. Infants and children within low to middle income countries  are particularly vulnerable to the effects and consequences of injury. Human and physical resources as well as administrative processes are critical to the delivery of quality trauma care.
